I remember walking through colourful meadows trying to catch butterflies with a net. There were so many different flowers, bushes and plants, honey bees and bumble bees, all kinds of beetles...These are memories and pictures from my childhood. Today, a few decades later I can't see the colours and variety anymore. It's like nature vanished, species vanished. The same places of my childhood look so empty and sparse.

You may say that's just nostalgic and that everything looks brighter and prettier when you see things through the eyes of a child. I got you and yet - I know it's not true. I know it and I see it - the decline in biodiversity is visible - everywhere and in my little village where I grew up.

This website is about my personal journey to become an eco-warrior, to live a greener more environmental-friendly life and to inspire others to do the same.
